International Duties & Taxes
Products shipped internationally may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges will typically be due once the shipped goods arrive at the country of destination. Such charges are not included included in the product price or shipping and handling cost. Please note that these charges are the buyer's responsibility as Africa Goodnest will only charge the transportation fee for your order. Africa Goodnest does not bear the responsibility of these or any additional charges that may apply.
The buyer is responsible for obtaining information regarding their country's laws, regulations, and restrictions that may apply when purchasing products from our site. It is essential that the buyer be familiar with the key export requirements of the destination country, and/or request regulatory advisory from its own Tax/Legal advisors. By placing an international order, the buyer is responsible for following their country's laws, regulations and restrictions.
If a product is seized or destroyed by customs or returned to the country of origin, neither Africa Goodnest, nor the vendor or brand, will be responsible for the losses, product, or shipping refunds. It is the buyer's responsibility to cover the shipping costs when the buyer wishes to have a second delivery attempt after the product is returned to its country of origin.
All wholesale orders are required to purchase shipping insurance, provided by the shipping company.
Africa Goodnest is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or delayed shipments or damaged freight by the freight carriers after they have been dispatched. Africa Goodnest cannot be held responsible/liable for lost or stolen packages that have delivery confirmation to the address that was provided. The buyer accepts full responsibility to file any claim(s) with the carrier for damaged and/or lost shipments. Africa Goodnest is equally not held responsible for mis-delivery errors via carrier or incorrect shipping information.
Available Shipping Methods
Items purchased for retail ship from the United States using domestic shipping methods. Retail orders usually arrive to a customer within one week, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Flat-rate shipping costs will calculate at checkout. For purchases that qualify for free shipping, this will also be indicated at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
For individual retail orders, we only provide shipping within the United States.
Do you offer free shipping?
Some items or purchase thresholds will automatically qualify for free shipping at checkout. Otherwise, if you have a coupon code, please enter this at checkout.
What can I do if my product is lost in the mail?
Please reach out to us so we can help you track your package.
But please note that we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages that have delivery confirmation to the address that was provided. We are also not responsible for mis-delivery errors via carrier, or incorrect shipping information.
Can I cancel or change my order?
We will try, but we begin preparing your order shortly after it is placed. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that a change or cancellation can be made once your order is placed. You are kindly asked to reach out to us at customerservice[at]africagoodnest[dot]com for help.
How do I return my purchase?
You can return non-food items within 14 days of receiving an order. Sale items, food items and gift certificates cannot be refunded.
To initiate the return process, please contact us at customerservice[at]africagoodnest[dot]com with your order number, item(s) you wish to return, and reason(s) for requesting a return.
Items must be returned unopened, unused, and in their original packaging. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any returns that do not meet this requirement.
If I return an order, will I be refunded shipping costs?
Sorry, but you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning an item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
