Vendor Pricing

Start small. Move up when your products sell.

Most brands start on Makola Market, our standard plan for brands ready to sell in the U.S. If you would rather test the market first, Akwaaba gives you 90 days with no monthly service fee. Brands selling at volume, or selling to wholesale buyers, move up to Ghana Jollof. Storage is charged at the same rate on every plan.

Platform requirements: Vendors must be a registered African business with products certified for consumption and export. The terms below apply to every vendor. Full details are in your Vendor Agreement.

How commission works

You tell us the payout you want for each unit, and we set the retail price. Your payout per unit is the same on every plan.

Moving from Akwaaba to Makola Market or Ghana Jollof lowers the commission, which lowers the price your customers pay. Promotional discounts never reduce your payout.

Fees and payment terms

You receive one invoice each month with the service fee and storage fee for your plan. The onboarding fee is charged one time, in your first invoice.

Vendor payouts

We pay you within 45 days of a product sale.

Getting your products to our warehouse

You arrange and pay for shipping from your country to our U.S. warehouse.

On Makola Market and Ghana Jollof, you are eligible to use our professional air freight service to import your products. You remain responsible for all shipping and duties fees.

From Akwaaba to Ghana Jollof: moving up
