Leaves of Magic
When Sedem Gavua relocated to Ghana in 2016, she found herself surrounded by nature. At the University of Ghana where her father was a lecturer, Sedem reacquainted herself with moringa trees she had not seen since leaving Ghana as a child. As an advocate of do-it-yourself natural remedies, Sedem founded Leaves of Magic to make the healing power of moringa attainable to everyone. "I have personally seen results when using moringa for hair, skin, nails, self-care and energy," she said. Initially marketing and selling the teas in Ghana, Sedem eventually expanded to online and physical shops internationally. "The story of business is soul searching, moving to Ghana and just going for it."
